Summer time reef fishing

In the summer time the water is much warmer, and begins to hold a vaster diversity of life. Typically grouper and snapper are most abundant on the reefs during the summer months. Species like amberjack and barracuda hang around the reef, even big kingfish and cobia are caught off the reef. In addition during the full moon anglers might find African pompano and triggerfish also actively feed on the reef! All these species make for some awesome sport fishing, summer time fishing over the reefs can be as productive as any time of the year! These reefs hold such a variety of life and become alive with so much activity during the summer time, making perfect opportunities for anglers to get out offshore and catch some amazing species!

I recommend giving summer time reef fishing a try next time you get a chance!
